The dose of vermox depends on the type of worm infection you are treating. The most common worm infection of the gut is threadworm. If you are unsure of the type of worm infection that needs to be treated, consult you doctor before use.
Threadworm Infection
Adults and children over 2 years old: Take one tablet. Repeat after 2-4 weeks. If symptoms still persist after a few days of taking the dose, consult your doctor.
Other Common Worm Infections (Ascariasis, trichuriasis, ankylostomiasis and mixed infections)
Adults: Take two tablets morning and night for 3 days.
Children over 2 years old: Take one tablet morning and night for 3 days.
You doctor will advise the appropriate dose depending on the type of worm infection.
